Users of WhatsApp should be excited to learn that you can now pin up to three messages in your conversations. Previously, when communicating with an individual or a group, you could only pin one message at a time.
WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg both announced this change. Their goal is to make it easier for users to locate crucial information within their discussions.
A variety of messages, including text, images, and polls, can be pinned. This makes it useful for keeping in mind details like the address of a buddy or the location of your group meeting.
Simply place your finger over a message and select "Pin." Additionally, you may choose whether you want it to remain pinned for 24 hours, the standard 7 days, or 30 days. This keeps things more orderly, but bear in mind that if you still need the message after 30 days, you'll need to pin it again.
One thing to bear in mind though is that a message cannot be pinned indefinitely. You'll need to "Star" whatever you wish to keep around forever; this option is located in the contact menu.
To put it briefly, the new pinning function on WhatsApp facilitates finding crucial messages in your conversations. WhatsApp wants to make things easier and more comfortable for its users with this upgrade.
