MSI, the leading computer manufacturer, announced the launch of its
new gaming device, called “Claw,” amid increasing competition in the portable gaming device market, especially after the great success achieved by the “Steam Deck” device.
“Claw” features the new “Intel” “Core Ultra” processor, with the possibility of choosing the “Core Ultra 7 155H” processor for higher performance, as MSI plans to launch 3 models of “Claw”, at prices ranging between 700 and 800 dollars, In the first half of the year.
The basic model comes with a Core Ultra 5 processor and 512 GB of internal storage space, in addition to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of PCI-Em2 storage space.
As for the IPS screen, it measures 7 inches, has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, has a resolution of 1080 pixels, a brightness of 500 nits, and a 53-watt battery, which MSI claims provides an operating life of up to two hours under extreme pressure.
The device's buttons are touch-sensitive, with Hall effect triggers, and small, customizable buttons. As for ports and connectivity, it uses a microSD port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a power button with a fingerprint sensor.
